Seychelles cuisine is a blend of European, Oriental and Asiatic flavours mixed with a few spices of Creole flare. This is what makes the creole cuisine so unique.

Many hotels offer creole dishes on their menu, but for those staying in self catering establishments can visit restaurants. Many restaurants on Mahe, Praslin and La Digue offer clients the opportunity to taste traditional cuisine that the Seychellois hold close to their heart.

Traditional bazaars held during the different months also present clients with this opportunity, but care should be taken in choosing which stalls to eat from as foods are either cooked ahead of time or grilled in the open.
